Sport?
As some of you know, I love snooker, despite I didn't play for ages.
But here it is: The dignified Crucible Theater, location of the annual Snooker World Championship.
Unfortunately I'm too late and I got the story about John Higgins. I don't want believe that!
However, as some other people know, I also like to go jogging. In Rostock I had to take a longer break because I twisted my foot ankle... two times in series. But I carried all of my equipment with me. Now I searched for a nice track. There is the Weston Park, 15-20min away, but in my opinion nothing for running.
...
The paths are made from tarmac. Perfect for skates, but if you run there, your joints will be damaged. But a tennis court is build in.
As it seems, there is no nice forest nearby. The next is the Ecclesall Wood, but it is 7km away. At home I fall out of the door directly hitting my preferred track. On the 5th of September a marathon takes place in Sheffield. Where all the people go for training? I used to check the websites of Sheffield, the forum of Sheffield and mapmyrun.com. Or do you have an idea how to travel to this forest? I don't have a car or bike and public transport is not a good idea (after 30min jogging I'm sweating like a water fall and the I can't share a tram with other people).
